Back in the days when actors had more impacted in the process of making Bollywood movies successfully, Sridevi rose to the occasion with her clinical acting, gracious dancing and superb comic timing. One just cannot miss appreciating the performances she delivered in some of the biggest hits in 1970s and 90s and the way she has shown the different shades of women on the big screen is simply commendable.
From making her debut on the screen as a child artist to playing deep role of a mother seeking revenge for her daughter’s rape in her final release – Mom in 2017, Sridevi left no stone unturned in order to make her Bollywood career worth remembering.
Sridevi featured in many great hits of the Bollywood and got the privilege to work with many veteran actors of the industry but she made sure that no matter however crowd-puller actor she is opposite, the eyes should stay on her. Her screen presence was extraordinary and she ruled hearts all over with her charming face.
Though Sridevi has been inspiration to many with her career in Bollywood, she regrets missing out on the education in life. “I was a good student. for a while my parents did make me cope with

teacher would accompany us. But after a point, this wasn’t practical. I

Sridevi was conferred with the prestigious Padma Shri in the year 2013 and also received many lifetime achievement awards for her inspiring journey in Bollywood. Also, her dance numbers choreographed by Saroj Khan in 1980s are bound to stay in hearts of all the Bollywood lovers in the world.
Apart from being a great actress, Sridevi was gem of a person, supportive wife, amazing mother and above all – a great human being. May her soul rest in peace and we would like to thank her for giving us masterpieces which we will treasure forever as Bollywood fans!
